Website design prices in Bangladesh run from about ৳5,000 for a ready-made template to well over ৳1,00,000 for a custom online shop. This guide shows the prices Bangladeshi agencies and hosts publish in 2026, what you pay again every year and how to compare quotes without getting caught out. Then it shows our own prices, published in full.
Here is what Bangladeshi web agencies and hosting companies publish on their own websites. These are starting prices. Your quote depends on how many pages and features you ask for.

How we checked: on 3 November 2026 we read the price pages of more than a dozen agencies and hosts in Dhaka, Chittagong and other cities, the BTCL rate card and the main payment gateways. Prices change, so check before you buy.
Two things stand out. The very cheap offers are mostly ready-made templates from hosting companies: a design many other sites also use, with your name, text and photos added. And many web firms in Chittagong (Chattogram) publish no prices at all and quote each project, so ask for a written quote. One Chittagong agency's own market guide puts a 5 to 10 page small business site on WordPress at ৳30,000 to ৳80,000.

Two quotes for "a website" can be far apart because they are not pricing the same thing. These are the things that change website development cost the most.
A ৳5,000 to ৳10,000 template can be enough if you only need your name, phone number and location online. It stops being cheap if you cannot change it yourself, if it looks like many other sites or if the builder holds your domain and you cannot move away. Paying more makes sense when the site has to sell, take orders or make a small business look established.
The build is usually paid once. Three things keep a site online, and two of them renew every year:

The rough total: a small site costs about ৳3,000 to ৳6,000 a year to keep online if you look after it yourself. A maintenance plan adds roughly ৳24,000 to ৳36,000 a year at published rates. Watch first-year deals: a hosting plan sold cheap for year one can renew at twice the price or more. BTCL and some hosts also show prices without VAT.
Put the build and the running costs together and your website making cost for the first year looks like this, using normal renewal prices for the domain and hosting:

A .com.bd tells customers you are a Bangladeshi business and is cheap at BTCL, the official .bd registry, but BTCL asks for a National ID card plus a trade licence or a similar document. Plain .bd names, such as yourshop.bd, opened to everyone on 19 January 2026. A .com is quicker to buy from any host. Pick the one your customers will remember, and buy it in your own name.
Price is only half of a quote. Ask these before you hand over money, and get the answers in writing, even if it is only a WhatsApp message.
Lay your quotes side by side and tick each line. The lowest build price is not always the lowest total.
The biggest risk when you buy a website is not the price. It is paying an advance for something you have not seen, then finding the result is not what you pictured. Screenshots and design pictures can look very different from the real site on a phone.

Agency prices for an online shop with bKash and card payments mostly start between ৳25,000 and ৳50,000, and custom-built shops start around ৳90,000. To take payments through a gateway you also need a trade licence, and the gateway keeps about 2% to 2.75% of each sale.
